Privacy Policy
What we collect, what we don't, and how to control it.
Last updated: July 2026. This policy was drafted in-house and has not been reviewed by a licensed attorney. Governing state: California, USA.
Who we are
PawPlate (“the Site”, “we”, “us”) is operated by One Realm Holdings. You can reach us at [email protected].
The short version
- No accounts, no logins, no newsletter — we don't build profiles on you.
- Food searches run entirely in your browser; we never receive or store what you search.
- We don't sell or rent personal information.
- Advertising and analytics cookies only load after you accept them.
Information we collect
Information you give us. Only what you choose to email us. The contact form composes a message in your own email app — nothing is transmitted to or stored by us until you send it.
Information collected automatically. Our hosting provider (Cloudflare) processes standard server and security data such as IP address, browser type, and pages requested, to deliver the Site and protect it from abuse. This is necessary to operate the Site.
What we never collect. We do not collect payment details (our payment processor handles those), and we do not knowingly collect information from children under 13.
Cookies, advertising and analytics
We use three categories of cookies:
- Essential — required for the Site to function and to remember your cookie choice. Always active.
- Analytics — privacy-respecting measurement of aggregate traffic, so we know which pages are useful.
- Advertising — we display ads (including via Google AdSense) to help keep the Site free. Google and its partners may use cookies or similar technologies to serve and measure ads, and in some cases to personalise them based on your prior visits to this and other websites.
Your control. Analytics and advertising cookies load only if you press “Accept all” on our cookie banner. If you reject, they are not loaded. You can change your choice at any time via “Cookie settings” in the footer, and you can clear cookies in your browser at any point.
You can also opt out of personalised advertising directly with Google at adssettings.google.com, or across participating vendors at optout.aboutads.info.
Donations
When donations are enabled, payments are handled by a third-party processor (such as Stripe or PayPal). We never see or store your full card details. The processor's own privacy policy governs that data. We may receive a confirmation containing your name, email and the amount, which we use for record-keeping and to thank you.
Third parties we rely on
- Cloudflare — hosting, content delivery and security.
- Google AdSense — advertising (only after consent).
- Stripe / PayPal — donation processing, if and when enabled.
Each processes data under its own privacy policy. We also link to outside websites we don't control and aren't responsible for.
How long we keep things
We keep emails you send us for as long as needed to respond and maintain our records, and donation records for as long as required for accounting and tax purposes. Server logs are retained by our host on their standard schedule.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or restrict the use of your personal information, to object to processing, or to withdraw consent. In the EU/UK this arises under the GDPR; in California under the CCPA/CPRA, including the right not to be discriminated against for exercising those rights. We do not sell or share personal information as those terms are defined under California law.
To make a request, email [email protected]. We'll respond within the timeframe the applicable law requires.
International visitors
We operate from the United States. If you access the Site from elsewhere, your information may be processed in the U.S. and other countries where our providers operate.
Children
The Site is a general-audience information resource, is not directed at children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect their personal information. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we'll delete it.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy; the “last updated” date above will change. Material changes will be highlighted on this page.
